Artist Statement:
My work reflects my life and dreams, shaped by the diverse places I've called home—from bustling cities to peaceful rural areas. Living in both environments has influenced my art, capturing both chaos and solitude. I draw inspiration from the people around me, my memories, and the subtle patterns we encounter daily. Themes of family, architecture, aquatic imagery, and nature often appear in my work. I specialize in printmaking, particularly intaglio, and monoprints, while also enjoying drawing and cutting stencils. My artistic process is intuitive, allowing my work to evolve organically as new ideas emerge. I see my art as a collection of personal symbols, open to various interpretations. The intricate details in my pieces encourage viewers to engage with them, revealing layers of meaning. Ultimately, my work celebrates the positive aspects of life through both abstraction and realism, sharing joy and positivity with the hope that others can connect with these emotions.
